There are not enough qualified personnel and newcomers to fill all the present and future vacancies in various technical professions, and this is particularly the case in the aerospace sector. It is against this background that the International Aerospace Exhibition ILA 2012 (11 to 16 Sept.) invites all interested parties to attend the ILA CareerCenter. During two days at the ILA (14 and 15 September) employers in the fields of civil and military aviation and space flight will be in Hall 7 to provide details about the many and varied career opportunities in these technologies of the future. The ILA CareerCenter, which is taking place for the third time, includes trade fair stands, conferences, papers, panel discussions and workshops for young professionals, graduates, students and schoolchildren. The Federal Minister for Economics and Technology, Dr. Philipp Rösler, has agreed to act as patron of the ILA CareerCenter 2012 and points out that: “The CareerCenter shows young and interested people ways in which they can access some of the fascinating careers available in aviation and space flight.”

Within just a few years the ILA CareerCenter has become the world’s largest job fair for the aerospace sector as well as an attractive platform for activities in the fields of human resources and recruiting
